GOODSTOCK: A DAY OF PEACE & MUSIC, Saturday, May 22, 4 to 9 pm

The Boerne High School Courtyard will be transformed into a vibrant culmination of sound, art, food as the BHS Interact Club hosts “Goodstock, A Day of Peace & Music” to benefit the Hill Country Council for the Arts.
This live music festival will feature local bands, alumni and student bands as well as solo artists. The lineup of talent includes such creative and locally known artists as Tyler Tehas, Half Lounge, Boc Full of Memories, Rival Wife, The Rapskallions, Colton Hagendort, Ostrich Farm, Tangible Green, Crizzly, Giant Panda and Emily Galliardt.
In addition to the full lineup of musical talent, the day will offer tie dying, face painting, a variety of food vendors and great auction items. “Goodstock, A Day of Peace & Music” will feature both live and silent auctions to Limestone Grille, Artwork from Karmageddon Tattoos, a guitar, framed commemorative motorcycles of the 90s from Javelina Harley Davidson, guitar lessons, student one-of-a-kind artwork and much more.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Hill Country Council for the Arts.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students/children and will be available at the door.
Those attending should bring chairs and blankets for the family to sit and enjoy the concerts.
First founded in 1962, Interact is an international community service lcub stemming from Rotary International. Boerne High School’s Interact Club volunteers and raises money for causes throughout the community and for third-world countries.
