In December the Cibolo Arts Council proudly purchased a new double string bass for the BISD Orchestra program. The purchase was made possible through a grant from the Texas Music Office of the Office of the Governor. The bass enhances an already exceptional orchestra program in its second year at BISD secondary schools.

The string bass helps the program reach its goal of balance in instrumentation as the bass instruments add a rich full sound to the orchestra.
